Once the rain stops, rinse off any muddy residue with fresh water, then wipe with a soft cloth and a little mild soap. A soft brush helps lift dust out of the rattan-look texture on Havana pieces. Avoid solvents and abrasive pads, which can dull the surface. Let everything dry in the air before you put the cushions back.
Cushions
If cushions did get wet, stand them on their edge in a shaded, airy spot so water drains out and air reaches both sides. Brush off dried sand before it works into the fabric, and spot clean marks with mild soap and water. Only return them to the sofa when they are fully dry.
Tables and floors
