Quick answer: For most UAE balconies, a two-chair bistro set with a small table is the best fit. A 2-seater sofa set suits a medium balcony, and a 4-seater set suits a large terrace. Choose light, weather-resistant plastic frames, and measure your balcony first so you keep room to walk around the furniture.
Which balcony furniture fits your space?
| Balcony | Best choice | Seats | Largest piece |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small | Serena bistro set | 2 | Two chairs and a coffee table |
| Small, flexible | Lightweight folding chairs | 1 each | 55 × 46 × 83 cm, folds flat |
| Medium | Havana 2-seater set 1+1 | 2 | Armchair 73 × 69.5 × 81 cm |
| Large or terrace | Serena 4-seater set | 4 | Sofa 112 × 71 × 76 cm |
| Large or terrace | Havana 4-seater set 2+1+1 | 4 | 2-seater 127 × 69.5 × 81 cm |
How to choose balcony furniture
Measure first. Measure the length and depth of the balcony and note where the door opens. Lay the furniture sizes out with tape on the floor and check you can still walk around the table.
Keep it light. Choose pieces you can move for cleaning and for hot months. Serena and Havana frames are polypropylene plastic, and folding chairs store flat when guests leave.
Plan for the weather. UAE balconies get strong sun, dust and occasional rain. Havana frames are weather and UV resistant. Read how to protect outdoor furniture from rain and how to choose for the UAE heat.
